OTHER UECHI-RYU SITES
This is the website of the Okinawan Uechi-ryu Karate-do Kyokai (Uechi-ryu Oki Ku Kai) which was officially
organized on 01/01/10. The "Grand Master Instructor" of this group is Takara Shintoku and the current (2016) President
is Tamayose Katsuji.
This is the website of the Okinawan Karate-do Kyokai (Shohei-ryu Oki Ku Kai) which was officially
organized on 04/01/89. The designation "Shohei-ryu" was officially adopted on 11/16/95. The Honorary President
of this group is Tomoyose Ryuko and since April 2012 the President has been Higa Toshio.
The Uechi-ryu-West website focuses on the late Ahti Kaend's students in California and other areas.
It includes links to a number of other sites.
David Kahn, who teaches in the area of Chicago, Illinois, is affiliated with George Mattson's International
Uechi-ryu Karate Federation.
George Mattson, who was the first to popularize Uechi-ryu in the United States, is now based in Florida
and heads up the International Uechi-ryu Karate Federation.
This is a separate website created by a student of George E. Mattson which highlights her teacher's years
of studying Uechi-ryu.
This is the website of the Rhode Island Uechi Karate School, which is run
by students of the late Charles Earle.
Alan Dollar, a student of Shinjo Seiyu, taught in Antioch, California up until his retirement in 2004.
The Uechi-ryu Journal is an Internet publication focusing an Uechi-ryu Karate-do and related topics.
